Axial Bifurcated Smoke Fan - Conical / Straight

ABSF Series

Fan Components and Material Properties:

Body is made of steel with electrostatic powder coating. Fire resistant aluminum alloy casting blades and fan hub. Motors are IP55 class, 2 and 4 - poles motors. Efficiency class IE3 and Class F insulated. The motor is out of airflow according to the designation of the fan. Axial Bifurcated Smoke fans can be installed vertically and horizontally according to the usage. According to EN 12101-3 Standard, ABSF can work up to 2 hours continuous operation up to 300 ºC.

Fan Structure:

Bifurcated fans are designed to protect the motor from air conditions that are detrimental to the motor. Bifurcated fans use an internal casing that encloses the motor separating it from the air that is moving through the fan. Blades are airfoil profile and provide high aerodynamic performance. Blade angles are adjustable. In this way, smoke discharge fans can be demanded at different flow rates and static pressures. The Impeller is balanced dynamically based on ISO 14694 standard.

Benefits:

The motor of the bifurcated fan is located out of its airstream, it is enabled to handle grease and fumes of higher temperatures. Isolation of Motor from Heat or Contaminants.

Usage Areas:

The bifurcated fan can handle a wide variety of saturated and dustladen atmospheres, heated air and hot gases.

Sizes:

Available 5 standard sizes from 500  mm to 800 mm, Custom made sizes can be manufactured upon customer's request.
